Birdwatching Tarifa & AndaluciaTarifa, being based on the Gibraltar Straits, is a major attraction for birdwatchers from around the world. The Straits are an important passage for migrating birds between Africa and Europe. Huerta Las Terrazas, being based on the hills just above Tarifa, offers an amazing vantage point to see one of the most impressive migrations in the birdwatching calendar. Up to three thousand migrating storks can be seen flying across the Straits - and this is just part of a massive array of bird species on view.
