What's To Do, Andalucia?Huelva - lively student town but much better down by the beaches of Punta Umbria, Mazagon or DonanaJerez - quiet town famous for its sherry and worth visiting for one of the sherry tours. Seville - beautiful place to visit on a city break, great buildings and architecture, boats trips along the Guadalquivir River but the highlight is the endless tapas bars and restaurants. Be warned though, it does get unbearably hot in the peak summer months. Tarifa - a cosmopolitan town with stunning views across to Africa - bars, restaurants, history and culture - it's all here but without the crowds of some of the bigger towns. Granada - surrounded by the Sierra Nevada moutains, it offers a great mix of excellent architecture in its historic buildings and plenty of restaurants and bars. Don't forget to try some of the smaller, of the track towns for a real look at traditional Andalucian life - places like Aracena, Alajar, Ronda, Lucena. |
