Holiday in Tarifa, Andalucia

Tarifa is on the unspoilt Costa de La Luz in the region of Andalucia. Its history, culture and outdoor life offer an array of social activities and interest.

Tarifa town attracts a cosmopolitan crowd and blends a mixture of the old and the new. Inside the 11th century walls, the cobbled streets of the old town play host to traditional tapas bars, a unique and lively collection of independent retailers and the backdrop of Spanish daily market life.

The dusk brings another face of the town. The labyrinths of little streets are filled with lively bars and restaurants. On warm summer evenings the crowds take to the streets, all generations socializing on the Alameda with much of the social atmosphere you associate with continental evenings.

Days pass easily in Tarifa. Walking in the national park of Los Alcornocales, historical Gibraltar, unspoilt beaches Zahara de Los Atunes and the ancient Roman ruins in Bolonia are highlights. April and September are the migration seasons in the oceans in this area and it is the best time to go whale and dolphin watching. View our Activities Tarifa page for more information about the local area.

Self Catering Accommodation Tarifa

The Casita is a detached building that allows more privacy and is more suited for the Self Catering accommodation option - see our Self Catering Tarifa page for more details.
